The National Gallery Shop
The National Gallery Shop, located downstairs in the Weston Link, is the Galleries’ largest retail outlet.
It contains an inspiring range of products that reflects iconic images from our collection, plus impressive selections of artbooks, jewellery, gifts, stationery, tableware and a children’s section.
New in 2009 is the Design and Art Shop, also in the Weston Link, which carries one-of-a-kind contemporary glass, jewellery, iconic design and artist-designed products.
The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant
The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant is an exciting collaboration with Victor and Carina Contini, the hugely successful partnership that brought the restaurant Centotre to Edinburgh.
Celebrating the very best ingredients from Scottish producers and growers, it offers delicious, fresh, simple, good value food in a beautiful setting. The interior was specially commissioned by ANTA and showcases wonderful Scottish oak furniture, pottery from the highlands, and handwoven cloth from the Scottish Borders.

The Cafe serves great coffee and a selection of homemade traditional Scottish cakes.
Breakfast is served until 11:45am. Lunch includes hearty homemade soups, open sandwiches, and many other light snacks.
Traditional afternoon tea and the classic old favourite high tea are served every day.
The Restaurant, with stunning views over Princes Street Gardens, serves classic Scottish dishes as well as contemporary lighter dishes using the very best locally sourced Scottish produce.
An informal takeaway coffee and cup cake offer is also available in the concourse.
