Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art

The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art comprises two neo-classical gallery buildings (Modern One and Modern Two) set in beautiful parkland grounds at the west of the city centre, 10 minutes walk from Princes Street. The contemporary interiors and bright spacious of these gallery spaces are perfect venues for stylish parties, drinks receptions or product launches.

    Modern Two

    Formerly called the Dean Gallery, Modern Two is situated opposite Modern One and is the home to one of the most important Surrealist collections in the world, with artworks by the likes of Dali, Picasso and Miro. The stunning double-height Great Hall is a wonderful space for dinners, preceded by an exclusive private view of the Gallery’s exhibitions.

    Café Modern One (Evening)

    The newly refurbished Café at Modern One is available to hire in the evenings for parties. The café with its beautiful terrace and garden, can hold up to 80 for drinks receptions or 50 for dinner. Ideal for everything from summer barbeques and birthday parties to retirement dinners and buffets.
