How to join our Gallery of Stars
The zodiac is represented in the 30 panels which sit above the Great Hall. Each star has been assigned a unique number, which you should quote if you want to choose a specific star or stars. Use the star map to view a graphic representation of the panels in detail and obtain the numbers.
You can use your donation to choose stars through our Online Shop, by using the attached application form (PDF), or by contacting us on 0131 624 6279 or email donate@nationalgalleries.org.
When donating to Gallery of Stars online, you can either choose a generic star by adding it to your basket in the usual way, or reserve a specific star or stars by noting the number of the star (e.g. A57) in the Promotion Code field when completing your online purchase.
In the event that your choice of star has already been taken, or the size of star does not match your donation, we will contact you either by phone or email to make alternative arrangements.
In recognition of your gift, your name will be recorded in the Gallery and on our website and you will receive your own beautiful handwritten certificate with an illustration of your star.
If you would like to the gift the star for Christmas, please let us know by Wednesday 12 December so that we can ensure your certificate arrives in time.

Gift Aid allows the National Galleries of Scotland and the National Galleries of Scotland Foundation to claim basic rate tax relief on your donation from the taxman, increasing the value of your donation significantly at no cost to you.
I would like the National Galleries of Scotland and the National Galleries of Scotland Foundation to treat all donations I have made to the Galleries in the previous four years and all the further donations as Gift Aid Donations, until I notify you otherwise.
