Richard Long’s beautiful, thought-provoking and influential work, which expresses man’s relationship with the landscape, has gained him an international reputation.
Based on the walks that the artist has made since the mid-1960s, Long’s work takes the form of photographs, maps, drawings and sculptures (generally lines or circles constructed from natural materials that Long gathers on his walks).
This exhibition, which will span the artist’s career, will also feature a number of new works created specially for the show: it provides a unique opportunity to experience one of Britain’s most influential living artists.
