Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art Print Room
The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is home to 4,000 works on paper including masterpieces by artists such as Beckmann, Freud, Kandinsky, Klimt, Matisse, Picasso and Pollock.
The collection has an international scope with a strong holding of British and Scottish art. It also contains photographs and a wide range of prints and drawings from the 1880s to the present day, with special reference to artists working in Scotland.
The Print Room is open to visitors, by appointment only, on Wednesdays from 10am-12.30.pm and 2-4.30pm. Appointments must be made at least one week in advance (two weeks for group visits). Contact us to make an appointment.
Researchers must complete the Archive Visitor application form and read the Archive and Library Rules and Regulations in PDF format before they visit.
