Tiziano Vecellio and Titian: A Dynamic Learning Resource for Schools
Specifically for schools, the National Galleries of Scotland produced an interactive CD-ROM that explored important themes relating to Titian’s painting. Distributed free of charge to every school in Scotland along with our annual Programme for Schools 2006-07, the CD-ROM encouraged pupils and their teachers to use the national art collection as an educational resource.

Designed to meet the learning criteria of the Scottish Schools Art and Design Curriculum, the CD-ROM content was targeted at students in P6-S2. It encouraged school pupils to explore Titian’s Venus and other works in the national art collection interactively, enabling users to discover information on relevant topics such as colour, technique, symbols, storytelling and the city of Venice.
