This groundbreaking 2002-2003 outreach education project aimed to introduce socially excluded young people to the experience of responding to art. It also emphasised the relevance of certain historical paintings to their lives today.

This project, facilitated by Edinburgh’s Capital City Partnership, was a collaboration between the Galleries and the following arts organisations in Social Inclusion Partnership areas of Edinburgh: Craigmillar Community Arts, North Edinburgh Arts, Out of the Blue Arts, Arts South Edinburgh and WHALE.
