Free themed tours take place throughout the year in the National Gallery of Scotland, linked to special occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Hallowe'en, Architecture Week or Christmas. These are sometimes accompanied by self-guided trails.

On a more regular basis, we also offer free tours of the National Gallery's permanent collection on the last Saturday of every month at 2pm and 3pm. These tours will initially be on offer at the National Gallery but it is hoped to extend this to the Portrait Gallery, Dean Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art.

Gift Tours on a range of themes are also available at the National Gallery, for a maximum of five people.
