Tesco Bank Art Competition for Schools 2014
Calling budding young artists from all over Scotland - you too can be inspired by your very own national collection. With fun, inspiring themes for nursery, lower and upper primary, secondary and special education schools we hope you enjoy looking at, talking about and finally making your own art.
There are super prizes for individuals, classes and schools. All the winning works will be framed and exhibited at the Scottish National Gallery, with a selection featured in a colourful calendar posted to every school in Scotland.
Children’s class teachers can download all the information they need to enter the competition from the six individual category documents to the right. And parents, please get in touch with your child’s school to find out if they are planning on getting involved.

Interesting, funny, creative pictures – spent more time enjoying these that most other displays in the gallery!
Inspirational! Such fantastic creative work – and obviously required some sensational art teaching. Well done everyone!
What a happy discovery. Such beautiful art work and such talent. All very impressive but I liked the water theme the best.
Impressed, inspired, awestruck! I hope the children had as much fun creating these pictures as I did admiring them.
Completely astounded, the prize winner for the creepy things (age 8-11) blew me away with their creativity at such a young age! Puts my art work to shame!
