Past: Art Competition for Schools 2010
Congratulations to all the winners in this year’s National Galleries of Scotland Art Competition for Schools 2010 sponsored by Scottish Widows.
5,303 entries were received from Scottish nursery, primary, secondary and special education schools with hundreds of robots, pet animals and fantastical architectural creations for the judges to enjoy.
Entries arrived from tiny schools with only 15 pupils and from far away places such as North Uist and Orkney making it a truly national competition.
The Art Competition for Schools 2010 exhibition is now on tour. Currently, you can see the 53 wonderful winning works on show at Glasgow University, Eldon Street until 5th June 2011.
A beautiful calendar featuring the work of the top three winners in each category will be sent free to every school in Scotland. It will also be available for sale at all the gallery shops.
