For the first time the collections of the National Galleries of Scotland will be used as inspiration for composition. Led and organised by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra,  adults,  pupils and their teachers are invited to create a piece of original music.

The closing date is Friday 30 April 2010.

An award ceremony will be held in June 2010. All category winners will be invited to attend the recording of their composition by SCO musicians.
