Artists are organised by their most commonly-used names. This is usually but not always their surname e.g. Leonardo da Vinci is under L, Van Gogh is under V and Raphael is under R.
Zangaki (Egyptian, active 1880 - 1899)
Zangaki was a commercial photographer, most probably of Egyptian origin, active in the Middle East in the 1880s and 1890s. He took pictures of local people as well as European tourists, recording the curious encounter between the inhabitants of the lands of the Bible and their visitors from the West.
