Anthony Morrow (Scottish, born 1950)
Tony Morrow is a Scottish sculptor who, after working as an engineer for thirteen years, entered Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee as a mature student. In 1988 he was awarded the Mitchell Prize for Best First Year Student and after completing his course he stayed at the college to teach sculpture and life drawing. In addition to public and private sculpture commissions, Morrow has undertaken restoration work, notably at St Magnus Cathedral on Orkney. His commissions include the restoration and casting in bronze of the Peter Pan monument to author James Barrie at his birthplace, Kirriemuir. His works have been exhibited extensively and are in private collections in Britain, Australia and the US. He is married to artist Susie Morrow, with whom he sometimes collaborates.
