Adam Elder (Scottish, )
Elder was born in Edinburgh and studied photography at the city's Napier College between 1985 and 1988. A highly successful photojournalist, he worked on the staff of Scotland On Sunday newspaper before being appointed Official Photographer for the Scottish Parliament in 2003. He has gained a reputation for his portraits of some of the leading figures in Scottish politics.
