In 2003 Askew decided to move to Scotland and pursue his artistic practice, setting up a glass studio and returning to photography. His move north also allowed Askew to rekindle his passion for curling. He is a gold medal winning performance development coach for the Royal Caledonian Curling Club, working with Scotland?s elite international curlers.
