Isaac Gosset (English, 1713 - 1799)
Isaac Gosset was one of the most respected wax modellers of the eighteenth century. Based in London, Gosset produced likenesses of some of the most famous people of his time. His sitters included members of royalty and aristocracy. Gosset's finest works are considered to be a series of exquisitely modelled wax portraits of the Royal Family, held in the library at Windsor Castle.
